When in the build should insulation happen?
After rough-in is complete and inspected, and before drywall. Anything that needs to sit behind the foam has to be finished and signed off, because getting back to it afterwards means cutting foam out of the assembly.
Do you work as a subcontractor for builders?
Yes, regularly. We are used to landing in a slot within a larger programme and to being held to a date. Tell us the week and what precedes us.
Can spray foam be used in a conditioned attic on a new build?
Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons to specify it. It is a design decision though, not a late substitution, because it changes the mechanical layout and the ventilation strategy. Decide it early.
What about code requirements?
Requirements vary by jurisdiction and by assembly, and they change. We specify against the requirement for your location and the inspector has the final word. We will not quote a figure here that might not apply to your build.
Do you serve builders in both Georgia and Alabama?
Yes. There are two crews, one working out of Lawrenceville across the Atlanta metro and North Georgia, and one covering North Alabama and the Tennessee Valley.
